Assistant Manager Business Development  
         

Scope
Responsible for the achievement of set revenue/capacity targets through identifying of new business
opportunities, providing creative service solutions, and maintaining good customer relationships. Managing the
Business Development team and extending fullest corporation to the General Manager.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Identifying new business opportunities that are available in the market and penetrating them
• Providing creative solutions to customers
• Building a strong customer base for the business unit and providing adequate support to increase the
sales and revenue targets
• Responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships with the new & existing
clients
• Successfully managing customer inquiries and assisting with effective solutions as and when required
• Providing necessary guidance to the subordinates and working as a team towards achieving top line
targets
• Providing necessary assistance to the management and other departments
Skills and experience include:
• Preferably should possess 4 or more years of experience in a similar capacity in Logistic Industry
• Degree or professional qualification in Marketing or qualified in CIM/SLIM or any other related
Qualifications in Marketing
• Good knowledge on changing market trends
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good team management, planning and organizing skill
• Good negotiation skills and knowledge on MS Excel
• Knack for serving customers
• Ability to handle multiple activities (Multi-tasking)
