Location. Pannala, Kuliyapitiya
Work days. Monday to Friday -8.00 AM to 5.00 PM
Saturday - 8.00AM to 1.00PM
Salary. 150,000 +all-inclusive

Qualifications & Attributes;
· M.Sc./B.Sc. Degree in Food Science & Technology/Microbiology and equivalent professional qualification
· Minimum 5 years of experience in the coconut industry with the knowledge of UHT, coconut milk, canning, desiccated coconut and related products, virgin coconut oil
· Knowledge of ISO 22000/HACCP/FSSC 22000/IFS/BRC is a prerequisite
· A strong problem-solving attitude & willingness to think "Out of the box" & work across department boundaries
· Prepared to work long hours, display a sense of commitment to the job & able to work under pressure
· Excellent written & spoken communication skills both in English & Sinhala with a positive attitude
· Motivational and interpersonal skills & ability to establish good working relationships with all categories
· Computer literacy especially MS Office
· A good team player with flexibility & adaptability to work in a different environment
Key Activities
· Set & plan overall quality objectives, and issues such as policies, guidelines or directives.
· Responsible for all quality operational activities like quality gates; raw material, in-process & finished product inspection & analysis.
· Develop and implement the company's quality standards according to the customer's expectations.
· Ensure all the products manufactured comply with local/export legislation as regards composition, contaminants levels, labelling and net contents.
· Provide guidance to different problem-solving methods like 5S, cause & effect diagram, scientific problem-solving methodology etc. to solve quality issues that arise during production & other related activities.
· Assess customer requirements and ensure they are met.
· Ensure manufacturing processes comply with standards at both local and international level.
· Work with operating staff (Lab/Production) to establish procedures, standards, systems and procedures.
· Act as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality (training and development).
· Provide leadership, support, and guidance to ensure that Food Safety/Quality requirements are met.
· Provide analysis report on progress monthly to Management.
· Enforce quality goals and KPIs, Food Safety/Quality, maintain Food Safety plan, and supports operations for continuous improvement.
