Data Analyst  

         

   Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka
Term: 3-month contract (extendible) | Fulltime (Both options available) 

Responsibilities:
Use the Internet and other sources to find, analyze and process relevant information.
Contribute to the optimization of operationally efficient data analysis, converting large amounts of unstructured source data into easily accessible structured data.
Contribute toward effective and efficient standard operating procedures.

Required qualifications:
A degree in a relevant field, including environmental science, finance, economics and engineering.
High degree of computer literacy with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Other data tools like Python and SQL will serve as a recommendation
Have a good command of the English language, particularly the ability to find, distill and document particular facts.

Being able to work under pressure
Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work in an agile environment
Prior experience of environmental, social and governance research
Ability to analyze potentially conflicting data from different sources and derive conclusions
Good knowledge of end-to-end data collection, capturing, and dissemination processes
Work experience in investment data analysis or ESG, or sustainability
Self-motivated with good organizational skills
