Manager – Financial Accounting & Reporting  
         

·      Manage the financial accounting function of the organization by ensuring all the required journal entries are made, reconciliation performed timely and accurate manner for the financial statement preparation process.
·      Responsible for managing the Chart of Accounts (COA) of the company.
·      Supervise and review ECL models, loan impairment, and interest in suspense computations in compliance with SLFRS 9 and CBSL guidelines.
·      Oversee the maintenance of Fixed Asset Register & accounting in compliance with applicable SLAS/ SLFRS.
·      Responsible for the supervision of Bank Reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, other reconciliations as appropriate.
·      Responsible for preparation of monthly management accounts of the company.
·      Responsible for preparation and submission of monthly reporting packs (through the specified formats given for monthly reporting) to the parent company within the stipulated timelines.
·      Responsible for the review and supervision of preparation and submission of all the statutory reports accurately and timely manner on weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annually and annually basis.
·      Responsible for preparation and review of quarterly, annual financial statements and liaise with auditors to perform annual audits leading to signing of the financial statements.
·      Responsibility over monthly adoption paper for financials, adoption of quarterly and annual financials and other relevant board papers as appropriate.
·      Managing and supervision of external audit function.
·      Act as main point of contact for addressing queries relating to Financial Statements for internal and external stakeholders.
·      Support annual report preparation and finance related input required for AGM.
·      Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, requirement of Companies Act, CSE listing rules, CBSL Directives and any other applicable rules and regulations.
·      Continuous update on the changes in the regulatory environment which applicable to preparation of financial statements.
·      Assisting and monitoring the Balance Sheet clearing exercise.
·      Assist in the development and maintenance of strong internal control systems in relation to financial accounting and reporting process to ensure that risks are mitigated. 
 
The Person
· Degree in Accounting/Finance from a recognized university. 
·      Member CIMA/ACCA/CA Sri Lanka. 
·    Minimum 6 to 7 years of experience in the finance function, including 2-3 years of specialized experience in financial accounting, reporting or financial analyst in a bank/licensed finance company.
·    Should have excellent communication skills, high level of computer literacy, strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
